ModernTech Acquires Secant Technology, Arkansas SolidWorks Reseller
ModernTech, a value-added reseller of 3D CAD and Engineering Technology for manufacturers in the Southeast, announces its acquisition of Secant Technology and its SolidWorks software business. As a result of this acquisition, Secant Technology’s customers will benefit from immediate access to new products and value-added services from ModernTech. SolidWorks 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software provides tools for product design, validation, technical communications and data management.
“Our shared vision of growth and providing superior customer support was the basis for our companies coming together,” said Jon Carlton, Vice President of ModernTech. “Our goal is to serve the SolidWorks community by helping them create their 3D CAD designs more efficiently with all involved benefiting from the acquisition.”

With the combined resources of ModernTech and Secant Technology the SolidWorks community in the Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and West Tennessee area will benefit from the additional technical, support and sales staff.
