InfiniteSkills Release "Learning to Use AutoCAD Sheet Sets Training"

Software training firm InfiniteSkills Inc. introduced its, "Learning to Use AutoCAD Sheet Sets Tutorial," a specially focused course designed to teach AutoCAD professionals and students to better manage, access, and share data inside AutoCAD drawings using the native Sheet Sets tool.

Underlying AutoCAD's powerful 2D and 3D modeling environment is a powerful database that structures and preserves drawing data. AutoCAD's Sheet Sets provide a powerful way to access project data for specific purposes such as publishing and printing drawings, sharing information about projects, along with other general project management functions.

InfiniteSkills' Learning to Use AutoCAD Sheet Sets Video Training - DVD explores all the nuances, techniques, and uses of this powerful AutoCAD tool, allowing AutoCAD users to automate data input, exchange information with project group members, and plot in batches to .pdf or .dwf files.

Course author Brian Benton is an engineering technician, CAD Service Provider, technical writer and AutoCAD instructor. He has 18 years' experience using AutoCAD in various design fields, and has served in leadership roles for the AutoDesk newsletter HotNews. Benton has also worked in development for AutoDesk.

"Sheet sets are a great tool for advanced AutoCAD users," Benton says. "The great thing about them is that you can use them as little as you want or as much as you want. Sheet sets are great for expediting a few tasks but can also be used to perform powerful automated tasks across multiple drawings."

Benton brings his decades of experience to make Learning to Use AutoCAD Sheet Sets Training Video a fast and effective guide to integrating Sheet Sets into your AutoCAD workflow.

After starting with a basic introduction to Sheet Sets, Benton explains how to start a Sheet Set either from scratch or from a template, offering recommendations for when to most effectively use each method.

The course then dives in to the technical elements, simplifying the complex concepts involved in manipulating AutoCAD data by explaining topics such as working with sheet sets properties, customizing properties, and working with Sheet Views.

Next, Benton explores the project management functionality of Sheet Sets with chapters covering the implementation of templates, preparing title blocks for Sheet Sets, page setup, and inputting drawing data into custom Sheet Set properties.

Benton then covers printing, the most powerful advantages provided by Sheet Sets, explaining how to print to various file formats or plotters, publishing, and working with Sheet Set publishing options.

Free demo videos and a full list of course contents can be found on the Learning AutoCAD 2013 training page of the InfiniteSkills website: http://www.infiniteskills.com/training/learning-to-use-autocad-sheet-sets.html
