David Feng, Principal Systems Engineer, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (Johnson & Johnson)
David Feng is a Principal Systems Engineer at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., one of the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) operating companies. David has over twenty years of technical experience in the fields of electromechanical, electrical, and software engineering, both in the medical device and telecommunication industries. David's areas of expertise include system architecting and design, embedded RT control systems, probabilistic risk analysis, and PLM. For the past eight years, his work has been focused on developing an unprecedented Computer-Aided Personalized Sedation (CAPS) delivery system at J&J.
David earned a BE in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Applied Mathematics in China. He received his MS degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University, Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois, and System Architecting and Engineering from University of Southern California. He also holds the certification of Configuration Management, the certification of Project Management as well as Engineering Law. He is a senior member of INCOSE and IEEE.
