CIMdata Announces its 2012 PLM Market & Industry Forum Series; Forum series offers first public exposure to CIMdata’s analysis of 2011’s PLM market results
CIMdata, Inc., the leading global PLM consulting and research firm, announces its international 2012 PLM Market & Industry Forum schedule and program. These one-day events, formerly known as CIMdata’s PLM Vendor Forum, will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA on March 29; Heidelberg, Germany on April 17; Shanghai, China on April 20; and Tokyo, Japan on April 25. A new half-day Fall PLM Market & Industry Forum that builds on the spring events will be held in Plymouth, Michigan on October 1. The Fall PLM Market & Industry Forum will focus on market insights and trends.
CIMdata’s 2012 PLM Market & Industry Forums are the premier industry events for PLM solution providers of all sizes. During the spring forums, CIMdata and the attendees will collectively explore the issues currently facing the PLM market. Sessions will offer insights into the current economic climate and trends, and their effect on the PLM economy; a detailed presentation on CIMdata’s perspective on the state and trends of the current and future PLM market; and the first public exposure to CIMdata’s analysis of 2011’s PLM market results—including extensive analysis and forecasts regarding market growth across PLM domains, industries, and regions, and the performance (revenue and market share analysis) of leading PLM solution suppliers. Additional sessions will cover CAD and Analysis; Software as the Solution; Systems Engineering; Process and Mechanical PLM; and Social Computing and PLM. The new fall event will share information on insights and trends in the market based on CIMdata’s experience with its extensive industrial client base. This half-day session will include feedback from the field about current and planned PLM implementations, and best practices. The fall event will also provide attendees with a preview of CIMdata’s Collaborative Research Programs for 2012.
