QASymphony today announced a strategic partnership with OpsHub to integrate the qTest Test Management Platform to more than 40 different application lifecycle management (ALM) systems. The qTest OpsHub partnership gives agile development and testing teams the unique ability to manage their ALM integrations from one centralized, easy-to-use web-based interface. QASymphony solutions currently feature real-time integrations with JIRA, VersionOne, and CA Agile Central (formerly Rally). Now with the qTest OpsHub integration, teams using virtually any ALM, including popular tools like Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and IBM Rational, will be able to integrate with the qTest platform. Plazology Purchases Abaqus FEA

Plazology is pleased to announce the purchasing of Abaqus FEA from UK software reseller Intrinsys. We continue to invest in our simulation software across both Moldex3D and now Abaqus allowing us to now to simulate moulded components straight from Moldex3D imported into Abaqus for structural and funtional tests. Infor today announced announced a new focus on India, Middle East, and Africa with the creation of its IMEA business unit. Tarik Taman, who has led Infor's global HCM business since 2009, will lead the IMEA business unit from Infor's office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under Taman's leadership, Infor has a plan to quintuple its market share in the region by 2020. The global aerospace and defense (A&D) sector grew 3.8 percent in 2015, outperforming global domestic product growth of 2.4 percent, according to Deloitte's "2016 Global Aerospace and Defense Sector Financial Performance Study". Companies analyzed added $24.8 billion in revenues to reach $674.4 billion. However, when adjusted for the strong U.S. dollar exchange rate, global revenues declined 1.9 percent. Further, due to increased military spending, the defense subsector showed a 1.7 percent growth in revenues, equating to $5.8 billion of revenue. "The defense subsector appears to have bottomed out with a slowdown in the pace of decline in revenue," saidTom Captain, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP; vice chairman, U.S. A&D leader at Deloitte LLP; and global A&D leader.
