One of the world's leading automation companies, KUKA Aktiengesellschaft and Infosys have announced plans to jointly develop solutions. The partnership aims to develop a software platform that will allow customers to collect, evaluate and utilize data for improving their own processes. Germany-based KUKA will work to extend the connection of machines with the Cloud by establishing an Industry 4.0 Cloud Platform. These software and services will be developed by a new subsidiary of Kuka, connyun. The name connyun is derived from the English word "connect" and "yun", the Chinese term for cloud. IBM and SAP SE are partnering to accelerate plans across both companies to modernize clients’ analytical systems and processes for big data. Atos today announced that it has signed an exclusive three-year partnership agreement with ClickFox to improve its managed services through greater use of automation and robotics. Oracle Buys Textura

Oracle today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Textura, a leading provider of construction contracts and payment management cloud services for $26.00 per share in cash. The transaction is valued at approximately $663 million, net of Textura’s cash. Textura’s cloud services process $3.4 billion in payments for over 6,000 projects each month, helping keep projects on time and under budget while reducing risk for developers, contractors and subcontractors. Textura offers its cloud services in a consumption model preferred by the engineering and construction industry whereby the companies involved pay based on project activity. OpenText today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ANXeBusiness Corp. (ANX), a leading provider of cloud-based information exchange services to the US Automotive and Healthcare industries.
