Right Hemisphere Selects Right Connect as its Asia-Pacific Distributor

Right Hemisphere® announced Right Connect as its Asia-Pacific distribution partner for its Deep Exploration™ software. Right Connect will recruit new computer-aided design (CAD) software resellers in China, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam in addition to managing resellers in Australia and New Zealand.

“Asian manufacturing and engineering markets are growing both in size and sophistication,” said Right Hemisphere President and Chief Technology Officer Mark Thomas. “To date Right Hemisphere has focused its channels primarily on the North American and European markets. We’ve always known we would eventually expand into Asia Pacific and feel the partnership opportunity with Right Connect makes this the right time to do this.”

As part of its commitment to Asian markets, Right Hemisphere and Right Connect will develop Chinese and other Asian language versions of Right Hemisphere’s Deep Exploration software.

Jonathan Prince, CEO, Right Connect, said Deep Exploration is ideally suited to the Asia Pacific market, particularly the small and medium-sized businesses. The software excels at helping engineering and manufacturing-based firms reduce their time to market, which is especially important for Asia-Pacific manufacturers who provide essential links in global supply chains.

“In our experience, Deep Exploration is the best application we have seen for communicating, publishing and distributing product and engineering CAD data throughout the supply chain. CAD systems are becoming a commodity and with the explosion in CAD data the challenge has become how to manage, convert and share this critical data with non-technical users. Using Deep Exploration, technical documents, assembly instructions, repair procedures and marketing collateral can be prepared and used easily, without requiring expensive engineering time.

Right Hemisphere’s enterprise solutions such as Deep Server™ will continue to be sold in New Zealand and Australia by Nextspace, a 3D technology developer who develops a range of industry solutions on top of Right Hemisphere’s visual enterprise platform. Nextspace will continue to resell Deep Exploration to education and research customers as well as provide market development services —such training and other promotional activities— to Right Connect and its resellers.
