Product Family Description

Centric Software, Inc. provides Product Intelligence™ solutions for customers in aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, apparel, medical devices, life sciences, and AEC/OO. Customers can use Centric’s Product Intelligence for project or product initiatives such as new product development and introduction, innovation management, Six Sigma, and collaborative outsourcing. In AEC/OO, customers can use Centric’s Capital Program Intelligence for Owner Insight and AEC Insight in the design, construction, and lifecycle maintenance of facilities.

Centric’s product family includes the following modules:

Centric Decision Center  - helps unite people, information and activities by providing access to technical, scheduling and financial information for all items in a product collection, and can help expose problems early.

Centric InSight  - performs searches for product data and enterprise assets across structured, unstructured and unmanaged data, including PDM, PLM systems, office documents and email, graphics and CAD files. Centric InSight automatically indexes the data from multiple systems and locations, and organizes the information, so users can access and view data in native formats, and share it with selected project team members.

Centric Project  - manages the project, process, documentation and communication needs of distributed project teams, and helps team members collaborate.

Centric Process  - helps automate project and product development processes.

Centric Portfolio  - provides the tools required to establish portfolio objectives and help users perform high-level analysis and measurement of portfolios against the objectives.

Centric Charter  -  combines a secure web-based environment with a spreadsheet interface and real-time project database integration to help users collect information that is typically stored in silos across the organization and roll it up into one document for review.

Centric MultiSight BOM’s – supports multiple part specification perspectives based on each phase of the product lifecycle. Revision control, change management and analysis capabilities can be used to synchronize multiple BOM perspectives.

Centric Connection  - Provides off-the-shelf Connectors to multiple systems including MCAD, EDA, CAE, PDM, ERP, SCM and document management systems and aggrates information from multiple vendors and sources.

Centric’s Product Intelligence solutions include online decision center dashboards and virtual rooms, intelligent product search, a and a collection of “Connectors” to PLM, PDM, CAD, MCAD, SCM, and CAD systems.
