PTC acquires Migenius

PTC recently made an unannounced acquisition of Migenius, who offers their RealityServer platform that supports developing interactive photorealistic imagery. Originally developed at NVIDIA/mental images, the RealityServer platform is the first product to be offered by Migenius.

Founded in 2010, Migenius has been an Onshape partner since 2015 with their rendering services offered as an integrated cloud application in the Onshape App Store. With the acquisition, migenius is now a PTC Company which likely will be added to the PTC Atlas platform.

No terms were announced.
