NV5 to Showcase at Geo Week 2026 Next‑Generation GeoAI and Mission‑Critical Geospatial Solutions

NV5, the world’s leading provider of geospatial software and services, will demonstrate how it is helping government and enterprise organizations solve mission‑critical challenges through advanced GeoAI, remote sensing, and end‑to‑end geospatial solutions at Geo Week 2026, taking place February 16-18 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

At Booth #1003, NV5 will showcase its comprehensive geospatial capabilities – from data acquisition to analytics and enterprise‑scale intelligence delivery. Attendees will experience NV5’s latest GeoAI solution, GeoAgent™, an autonomous geospatial agent that discovers and analyzes data and delivers geospatial intelligence using natural language interaction. GeoAgent enables organizations to work faster, smarter, and with greater confidence by automating the most time‑consuming aspects of geospatial analysis.

NV5 will also highlight its industry‑leading remote sensing capabilities, including airborne lidar, topobathymetric mapping, photogrammetry, and advanced analytics, all powered by one of the most diverse fleets of aircraft, sensors, and platforms in the industry.

NV5 subject matter experts will be featured speakers during key sessions at Geo Week, including:

February 16

  • The Ugly Truths About Bathymetric Lidar 2:00 p.m.

Colin Cooper, Technical Director, will provide a candid, behind-the-scenes understanding of what it takes to turn raw bathymetric lidar into reliable, high-quality data.

  • The Next Decade of Geospatial Innovation 4:00 p.m.

Andrew Brenner, Vice President of Solutions Engineering, joins a panel of industry experts who will offer a candid, insider look at how geospatial technology will continue to evolve and what the profession will need to do to stay ahead, with a focus on AI adoption, new data standards, and rising demand for integrated spatial intelligence.

February 17

  • Digital Transformation Below the Surface 10:30 a.m.

Andrew Kuder, Army Program Manager, and Dabney Langhorne, UAC Team Lead, will explain how to leverage document research, as well as industry-standard electromagnetic and ground-penetrating radar locating techniques with high-accuracy GPS collection, to identify new and existing subsurface utility features. They will also demonstrate how to turn that collected data into an updateable geodatabase that includes detailed attribution and photo documentation.

  • Executing Wide‑Area Airborne Mapping Projects: A Practical Guide 11:00 a.m.

Andrew Brenner will be a panelist in a discussion that explores both the scientific and artistic aspects of aerial surveying, highlighting best practices, technological advancements, and the challenges faced in different regions.

  • Road Map to ASPRS Standards, Best Practices and Guidelines 11:00 a.m.

Evon Silvia, Technical Program Manager, will take part in a panel that discusses recently published ASPRS standards, guidelines, and best practices, and provides updates from ASPRS Working Groups currently involved in drafting new works.

  • Advances in Airborne Lidar and Remote Sensing 12:30 p.m.

Mischa Hey, Analytics Practice Lead, will summarize methods and findings from an analysis conducted for the U.S. Forest Service to quantify and isolate the effects of flight line overlap in forestry applications, including impacts on canopy surface models, ground return density, vertical point distribution metrics, and lidar intensity across varying forest types.

  • Applications of Remotely Sensed Topobathymetric Data–II 2:30 p.m.

Andres Vargas, Technical Domain Expert will share details about NV5’s BLAST (Bathymetric Lidar And Sensor Technology) System V2, a modular, helicopter-based system designed specifically for complex inland waterway mapping, including studies that support flood modeling, aquatic habitat assessments, and post-disaster terrain analysis, with discussion of data quality metrics, spatial resolution, water penetration performance, and operational efficiency.

February 18

  • Advanced Remote Sensing Data Classification Approaches 11:45 a.m.

Brenner will provide an overview of Detroit’s tree census, which mapped all the trees within the city’s boundaries to support planting and management of the urban tree canopy. He also will discuss results of the projects and how tree census data will change the way we understand the urban forest and manage it.

  • MAPPS and USGS 3DEP: Celebrating Progress and Exploring Future Collaboration for NextGen 3DEP 11:00 a.m.

Michael Shillenn, Senior Account Manager, will take part in a panel that highlights the critical role of private-sector geospatial firms in advancing this initiative, explores the benefits realized by MAPPS members, and discusses how NextGen 3DEP will shape future opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and business growth.

  • Shift Happens – Rethinking Geospatial in the Fourth Dimension 2:15 p.m.

Silvia will build on a myriad of practical case studies, culminating in a proven and repeatable approach to temporal geospatial data management and production.
