BAM is expanding its collaboration with OpenSpace through a new three-year, group-wide contract. Following proven success with BAM Netherlands, OpenSpace will now also be rolled out across BAM UK & Ireland. With this decision, BAM is adopting one standardised solution for capturing, reviewing, and managing site information across its construction projects.
“The expansion of our collaboration with OpenSpace aligns well with our broader digital strategy. By standardising across the group, we create greater consistency in the way we capture and use site information, enabling us to manage quality more effectively.” – Arnoud van der Heijden, Digital Project Manager at BAM Netherlands
From Local Impact to International Scale
Over the past few years, BAM Netherlands has successfully deployed OpenSpace across various projects. Based on these results, the technology is now being scaled across the wider group to drive greater consistency and efficiency while improving quality control across an increasingly complex project portfolio.
“By implementing OpenSpace in BAM UK & Ireland, we strengthen collaboration between divisions and take an important step in professionalising our digital way of working.” – Paul Brennan, Director Digital Solutions at BAM UK & Ireland
Seamless Integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud
OpenSpace integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud, enabling visual site data to be directly linked to models, documents, and workflows. This integration supports BAM in creating one connected digital working environment and helps teams make faster, better-informed decisions.
“We’re proud that BAM is deepening its partnership with OpenSpace. Their vision for data-driven construction and quality assurance aligns perfectly with our mission to make the construction industry smarter, safer, and more efficient. Together, we are taking an important step in international scaling.” – Sander Lijbers, Managing Director at OpenSpace
OpenSpace will be rolled out in phases across multiple business units of BAM Netherlands and BAM UK & Ireland, including training and support for project teams.
