Carlson Machine Control’s industry-leading fleet management software Carlson Command has received numerous new features and improvements with version 2027, helping customers better manage their equipment and sites with more advanced and refined tools and solutions.
On the main Command Map View there are now satellite, road and hybrid map image options, a refreshed user-interface with enhancements to menu arrangements for faster access to common features, and several other new or improved features:
- Refined integrated help bubbles
- Weather integration
- Pre-shift checklists
- Advanced data editor
- Ability to view control points on the map
- Improvements to grid surface management (live surfaces)
- Improved scene controls
- Improved user permission systems
For landfill and solar and pile driving customers, there are new live dashboard metrics, as well as KPI charts in the main Command Map View. Specific to solar and pile driving customers, there are now automatic map reports such as current block plot and machine traces.
Support has also been added to allow remote access to Carlson VASCO GNSS units, both base stations and those mounted on machines, to allow configuration and monitoring directly from Command.

Also recently released is Carlson Command Mobile, an app-based solution for utilizing many of the tools found in Carlson Command while in-the-field on an iOS or Android device.
