The Simulation & Analysis Knowledge Council (S&A Council) supports a simulation framework - an integrated environment that provides tools to manage access to applications, data, and computing resources. The framework manages the complexity of multi-disciplinary system-level product performance, and integrates with other elements of the PLM environment, including product geometry, test, and requirements. Two levels of membership are available: Enterprise and Individual.

The Social Product Development and Collaboration Knowledge Council (SPD&C Council) gathers trends and benchmarks best practices in improving traditional collaboration methods within PLM as well as applying new social collaboration technologies to innovation and new product development.In addition to its focus on the architecture and implementation of traditional digital product modeling, the SPD&C Council explores how the new collaboration technologies, collectively known as social technologies, can be applied to product development. The SPD&C Council’s research agenda includes development of a collaboration maturity model. This model will help council members assess their current status and help them develop a roadmap to improve their collaboration culture and infrastructure. SPD&C Council sponsors include both industrial companies and PLM solution providers. Two levels of membership are available: Enterprise and Individual.
