Steve Wheeldon B.Eng (Hons), Structural Engineer at Alexander Dennis Limited, based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, has been using MSC Apex Modeler for over 12 months to expedite the CAD geometry clean-up and meshing process as part of the preparation required for carrying out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on bus chassis frames and body structures. “MSC Apex has helped us to significantly reduce the time to prepare simulation ready models.
