InterSpec Inc. announces that they will be introducing their new proprietary InfoWare® program at CSI Construct 2015. InfoWare is designed to enable building product manufacturers (BPMs) to get up-to-date listings of current and on-going projects within their sphere or product lines during the design phase, typically 6 months to 3 years before the project goes to bid. Most products available today provide an abbreviated version of this information post-bid only. "This product will benefit both the building product manufacturer and the specification writer," said Gilles Letourneau, President and CEO of InterSpec, Inc. "The BPM will be able to get their best products in front of the specification writer at the exact moment the specifier is working on that area of the specification document, and the specifier can be confident that they have the most current product information available." Project listings do not rely on human reports but are automated, giving a more complete list

Using the newly released ANSYS® 16.2, engineers can now create virtual prototypes of complete systems, enabling them to make significant strides in innovation and to unleash next-generation products within their industries. As products – from automobiles to smartphones to wearable technology – become more complex and development times continue to shrink, the need to simulate whole systems grows. Through simulation, engineers can take full advantage of the growing number of opportunities presented by the rapid innovation of materials, electronics and processes. While some manufacturers have optimized the design of components or smaller sub-systems, until today's ANSYS release, no comprehensive solution has existed for simulating complete systems. The complexity within systems arises from the challenges of connecting the individual pieces to ensure they work together as designed. By developing complete virtual prototypes, leading companies can jump-start their innovation and leapfrog the competition.   "ANSYS customers are already solving component and sub-system problems using the

Arena Solutions today announced that its cloud-based medical solution is being rapidly adopted by the medical device industry. The medical device industry is both highly regulated and highly competitive, forcing companies to constantly innovate to prevent competitors from taking market share with more advanced devices. They must also carefully document all design changes to ensure compliance and avoid having their devices pulled from the market by increasingly complex regulatory bodies. Arena Solutions provides its medical device customers with the Arena Validation Maintenance Service (VMS). This is critical for medical device manufacturers since they are required to maintain and demonstrate FDA 21 CFR Part 820 Quality System Regulation compliance on a consistent basis. VMS offers ongoing Arena PLM release validation against its predefined intended uses, as well as the complete documentation of validation activities and results for each Arena PLM release. Because Arena PLM is delivered via the cloud, requiring no on-site equipment beyond a standard Web
