Accenture has been awarded a multi-year managed services contract by Shell to support engineering, production and process control across its upstream and downstream operations. Under the terms of the agreement, Accenture will provide Shell’s Project & Technology (P&T) organisation with application management services, which will include the support, as well as maintenance, enhancement and deployment of more than 260 applications in the areas of engineering and real-time data-analytics of production operations and process control.
