PTC Announces Q1 Results Date

PTC announced that preliminary revenue for the first fiscal quarter ended December 28, 2013 is expected to be near the high end of the company’s guidance of $310 to $320 million. As was referenced in our press release announcing the acquisition of ThingWorx, we are maintaining our FY’14 non-GAAP EPS guidance of $2.00-$2.10. PTC will release its fiscal 2014 first quarter results on Wednesday, January 22 after the stock market closes. Senior management will host a live webcast and conference call to review the results on Thursday, January 23 at 8:30am Eastern Time. Delcam’s sponsorship of the Bloodhound SSC (SuperSonic Car) adventure will be launched formally at the Autosport International exhibition to be held at the NEC from 9th to 13th January.  Bloodhound SSC aims to set a new world land speed record of 1,000 mph in South Africa in 2016. ANSYS Licenses Datakit Technology

Datakit announces that ANSYS has licensed Datakit translation technology for inclusion in ANSYS translation products. ANSYS is using Datakit technology to extend the range of CAD formats supported and improve translation capabilities in the ANSYS geometry interface offerings. New geometry interfaces for JT and Catia V6 leveraging Datakit technology were introduced with the ANSYS 15.0 release in December. These are standalone interfaces that may be used without a locally installed CAD system. "We're very excited to have ANSYS license our data exchange technology," said Francis Cadin, CEO of Datakit.
