ENGINEERING PLM Solutions today announced the availability of RuleDesigner® PDM’s integration with all versions of Solid Edge, even the latest released ST7.
Regardless the release in use, Solid Edge users can benefit from the jointly use of the CAD system with RuleDesigner® PDM to manage in an easy and consistent way product related design files concerning components, assemblies, metal sheet and welding development procedures, and 2D drawings. It allows to manage all related technical documentation, too.
What is more, RuleDesigner® extends the benefits of the hundreds of enhancement contained in the new Solid Edge release, including the advanced 3D rendering functions based on Luxion’s KeyShot® technology. In fact, with RuleDesigner® it is possible to embed renderings and interactive 3D contents into PLM processes, in order to share them in real time and on a account basis with any actor involved, even outside the company.
Also, RuleDesigner® PDM’s commands are embedded in the Solid Edge environment, providing user with the ability to quickly access to the RuleDesigner® suite’s functionalities
Finally, RuleDesigner® stands out for its hyper-parametric structure, that allows organizations to autonomously configure their processes workflows, and for the possibility to model configuration processes in order to generate data, documents and design automation processes from Solid Edge.
RuleDesigner® PDM is a reliable and cross-sectional product data management system which grant high performances in the context in which it is deployed.
