EdgeAX, a unit of Visionet Systems, Inc., has announced compatibility of its EdgeAX Apparel and Retail industry solution with the latest release of AX 2012 R3. EdgeAX solution provides extensive Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Retail Business Intelligence (RBI) capabilities.
Dynamics AX 2012 R3 offers significant enhancements in general ledger, inventory and warehouse management, master planning, procurement and sourcing, production control and retail modules. Moreover, added features of Windows 8 Tablet Point of Sales (POS) and Mobile POS for Windows Phone 8 have been provided in the retail module. Alongside, improved warehouse management provides inventory control through 360 inventory visibility.

With this latest R3 compatible release, EdgeAX offers significant enhancements that include quick line entry based on item/color on sales and purchase orders; multi-channel capability, which gives customers channel-based procurement capability; bulk purchase orders approval functionality; and ability to create extensive product cost sheets catering procurement, manufacturing and outsourcing scenarios.
Visionet also announced Dynamics AX 2012 upgrade services to R3 for its customers. The scope of upgrade services includes process optimization along with conversion of required custom code over to R3 in order to maximize the benefit on investment based on Microsoft’s recommended upgrade methodology.
