InterSpec Inc., provider of BIM integrated construction specification software and services, announces that SmithGroupJJR, the 8th largest architecture and engineering firm in the United States, has made e-SPECS the foundation of its enterprise-wide BIM and specification integration strategy.
A prominent force in sustainable practices with over 100 LEED certified projects, SmithGroupJJR evaluated many specification solutions to find one in line with its technology and sustainability goals. Driving the decision were the abilities to centralize their custom master specifications as well as integrate construction documentation with their BIM models with e-SPECS.
Enhancing their plans for BIM technology, e-SPECS for Revit offered the intelligence SmithGroupJJR’s project teams needed, providing Revit-integrated specifications with speed and accuracy. Using e-SPECS Designer, the firm created a central repository of design specifications, making preferences and lessons learned accessible enterprise-wide.
