The newest versions of PROSTEP's 3D PDF Enrichment™ Products; 3D PDF Animate™, 3D PDF Publish™, and 3D PDF Compare™ (A/P/C), are now available. In August 2014, PROSTEP released Version 1.7.1 offering several new and exciting features. Creating complex PDF documents with 3D CAD data is now easier than ever.
The Adobe® Acrobat® Pro plug-ins, A/P/C 1.7.1, provide users with more preference controls. Users can now set each window to appear at the same location on the screen each time the 3D PDF Animate editor is accessed.
Among other improvements, A/P/C 1.7.1 offers additional security. When a user establishes security in the PDF document, others are prevented from modifying the 3D PDF with A/P/C tools. When creating animations inside the PDF document, users can now search the Model Tree to easily find specific parts to use in the animation. Users now also have the ability to copy and paste steps and group (move) activities, reducing repetitive and time consuming work.
