CGS Reveals Successful New BlueCherry® Customer Acquisition and Expansion Efforts for 2014

CGS announces a strong sales momentum for its BlueCherry suite of solutions in Q1 through Q3 2014, with an average of one new customer acquisition per week YTD. Over a dozen of these new clients have adopted the BlueCherry full-suite ERP solution, and a strong percentage selected the BlueCherry B2B Mobile Wholesale and Shop Floor Control solute ions. For more than 30 years, CGS has supported many of the world’s top wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers in the fashion, apparel and consumer goods industries, enabling them to streamline operations, improve processes and enhance competitiveness.

Important new customer acquisitions include a diverse group of companies from a broad range of industry sectors from manufacturing to ecommerce such as Crew Knitwear, EnVogue, Joe Benbasset Inc., ModMerica, Phillip Lim and Secret Charm. Clients include both growing businesses and larger ‘top-tier’ enterprises that seek to benefit from increased productivity, cost reduction, social and ethical compliance management and greater control over in-house and global supply chain operations provided by CGS’s flagship BlueCherry suite of solutions.

Approximately 20 percent of new customer acquisitions are a result of CGS’s west coast presence, which has expanded in 2014 in order to support emerging companies that require a proven solution to facilitate rapid growth.

“So far, 2014 has been a very successful year for BlueCherry, and we expect to finish the year equally as strong,” said Paul Magel, President of the Application Solutions Group at CGS. “As new brands continue to emerge and as domestic manufacturing continues to trend upward, BlueCherry consistently proves itself as an attractive solution that meets organizations’ technology needs while allowing them to focus on building their brand and meeting customer demand.”

The BlueCherry Enterprise Suite brings together a broad collection of solutions, including: enterprise resource planning (ERP), omnichannel planning (OCMP), product lifecycle management (PLM), supply chain management (SCM), warehouse management (WMS), electronic data interchange (EDI) and various other capabilities to help companies meet their strategic and operational goals.
