Anya Hindmarch, the London-based designer of luxury handbags and accessories, has selected Centric Software to provide its product lifecycle management (PLM) software.
The choice to use the Centric 8 PLM software is an important next step for Anya Hindmarch, according to the fashion company’s president and CEO, James McArthur. “Implementation of the Centric 8 PLM software is the next step within Anya Hindmarch’s multi-year investment program to underpin the company’s rapid growth and expansion worldwide,” he says.
Over the past two years, the company has completely overhauled and integrated its technology platform with the introduction of tailored suites of customer-facing and back-of-house software. Implementation of the Centric 8 PLM solution will enhance mission-critical visibility throughout the product development process, says McArthur, replacing spreadsheet and home-grown systems. “Relying on one version of the truth for the details and status of each product under design and development will decrease the number of iterations for samples and prototypes, reduce administrative tasks and data entry, and increase efficiency.”

McArthur explains that Anya Hindmarch selected the Centric PLM solution for its ease of use, flexibility and scalability. “Centric 8 gives Anya Hindmarch the ability to turn on capabilities as the business develops,” he states. “The software’s flexibility will support the continuous evolution from one collection to another, including testing of new, closely related product categories.” The company also cited the visual attractiveness of Centric 8, Centric’s references in the industry, and expertise of the Centric team in its choice of Centric.
