Viewpoint Construction Software Wins The Earthmover & Civil Contractor's Technology Release of the Year Award

Viewpoint Construction Software® announces Viewpoint For Project Collaboration has won The Earthmover & Civil Contractor's Technology Release of the Year Award which acknowledges a product released within the judging year that introduced a new and more productive method of completing a task.

Viewpoint was also nominated for the Service to Industry Award which acknowledges a company with consistently high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction across the judging year.

The annual awards were presented during the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) National Conference and for the first time, the CCF Conference brought together the Australian industry’s three major awards programs – the CCF Earth Awards, The Earthmover & Civil Contractor Awards, and the first national Civil Train Awards, which were all awarded last night, 22 Oct. at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

"It's always rewarding to be recognized by the industry, especially in a market where Viewpoint is a more recent stakeholder," stated Rob Humphreys, Viewpoint's Vice President of Product Management. "The interaction with our Australian customers throughout the product development process, including focus groups and our annual customer summit, helps ensure we are addressing and meeting the needs of this market now, and into the future. Our long range investments in our development, product QA and customer support teams have also helped ensure our readiness for continued product enhancements and growth to meet the specific needs of this region through 2014 and beyond."

Additionally, as a part of the CCF Conference, Viewpoint's Ash Smith, business development manager, will present, "Mobile Technology Driving Productivity: Enhancing Visibility on Business Operations and Project Performance," at 10:30 a.m. on 24 Oct., in the Riverside Rooms 1 and 2, Adelaide Convention Centre.

Viewpoint opened their first office in Australia, January 2010 and has actively invested in the Australian and New Zealand markets through customer engagement during their annual customer summit, periodic customer visits and also actively working with industry organizations, including CCF, Master Builders Australia, and the Australian Construction Industry Forum.
