SimulationForDesign Website Enables Designers to Perform Structural Simulations Early in the Development Cycle

Fidesys LLC, announced that its SimulationForDesign (www.sim4design.com) website has been launched. It will operate in Beta mode until 31 March, 2015 and during this period customers will benefit from reduced rates.  The website focuses on the needs of non-simulation specialists to enable designers without simulation background to reliably evaluate structural performance of design alternatives and make performance based design decisions early in the development cycle.

SimulationForDesign enables its users to better understand structural performance (displacements and stresses) of their designs allowing them to evaluate the impact of design changes and to make smarter design decisions based on product performance. SimForDesign is not aiming to replace Analyst’s CAE tool for final design validation but is intended to support the early design phases and its associated decisions.  It allows any organization to make structural analysis an integral part of the design process for parts and small assemblies by removing the complexities and mystery related to setting up standard structural analysis.

SimulationForDesign provides a simplified process for simulation that demystifies analysis including fully automatic mesh generation and automatic assignment of project based material properties featuring an easy-to-use and navigate environment. At the same time it offers extreme reliability as it is based on proven and fully supported commercial Finite Element solutions from Fidesys LLC.  And there is no software to install; SimForDesign.com supports web browser based structural analysis and results visualization leveraging the Cloud.

“I am pleasantly surprised to see an innovative approach to reducing the expertise required for CAE as part of the design process” says Joe Walsh, CEO and Founder of intrinSIM. “SimForDesign.com focuses on leveraging commercial grade meshing and solver technology in an attempt to improve the design process. Providing a streamlined method to enable better design decisions may open the door for significantly broader use of CAE. Oh yeah...it's in the cloud.”

SimulationforDesign provides a simple straightforward pricing model for pre-paid usage taking the guess work out of the cost. Start for as low as $ 10 to get your first models analyzed and add usage to your account as your use simulation more.
