Viewpoint Construction Software announced that Synchro Software, Ltd. has joined Viewpoint’s Market Partner Program to offer building and construction markets a solution that unites the latest BIM model data with CPM scheduling and 4D visual project management capabilities. Using building information models, Synchro Software affords the entire delivery team the ability to see, validate and verify the sequence of activities that need to happen during project execution. When used in conjunction with Viewpoint’s BIM Manager, which uses IFC enabled Common Data Environments to deliver the most current view of project data, project activities are easily identified and coordinated providing a “dress rehearsal” of building the project before ground is even broken. This capability leads to greater quality control during project execution, and consistently provides improved productivity and cost and resource management.
Both Viewpoint and Synchro Software work with OpenBIM standards; the benefits achieved by using the solutions together further demonstrates that reliable and comprehensive BIM workflows are being achieved using models from a variety of BIM technology platforms.
