Simparel, Inc. (http://www.simparel.com) announces that global jewelry and accessories brand Berry Jewelry has begun implementation of the cloud-based Simparel® Enterprise solution at its New York City headquarters and other global offices. By replacing general industry ERP with the fully integrated fashion ERP, product lifecycle (PLM), supply chain (SCM), and warehouse management (WMS) solution, the private label and brand wholesaler expects to gain full visibility into the entire design to delivery processes and empower its teams and business partners to make faster, better-informed decisions.
“As a design-focused company, we need much more business information than our Sage MAS 200 accounting/ERP system can currently provide,” explained CEO Martha Berry. “Most importantly, we wanted a system with PLM capabilities that could start at the design phase and carry us all the way through to sales and shipment. After carefully evaluating more than ten systems, our cross-functional power user group declared Simparel the hands down choice based on its scope of functionality, performance and ease of use.”
Berry Jewelry will leverage the fully integrated capabilities of Simparel to track and manage its design, product development, purchasing, sales, shipping, accounting and other processes across its offices in the United States, China and India. The PLM capabilities built into Simparel will also support design and development collaboration with the company’s more than 50 global private label retail partners.
“After struggling for some time to create our own database and reports with off-the-shelf software, we are particularly looking forward to the flexible and robust reporting capabilities in Simparel,” continued Berry. “We also like the fact that Simparel will give us easy integration with Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheets. We are already enjoying working with their talented implementation team.”
“We are pleased with the opportunity to partner in the continued success of Berry Jewelry,” added Simparel CEO Steve Vogel. “We look forward to helping them gain the visibility and control they need to grow and prosper into the future.”
