Bengaluru-based Altem Technologies added another feather to its cap by winning the Dassault Systèmes’ Growth Award for Overall year revenue as well as the Marketing & Technical Excellence Award at the Dassault Systèmes’ ‘Annual Sales Kick-off 2015’ event.
Dassault Systèmes announced its annual VAR Excellence Awards to acknowledge the contribution and work of their VAR partners. These awards are given across 14 categories, including VAR of the Year, Best Brand Initiative, Social Impact and the Industry Excellence Awards were announced during the Annual Sales Kick-Off held in the city of Visakhapatnam recently.
The 3-day annual Sales Kick-Off had senior global executives from Dassault Systèmes in attendance along with Industry representatives addressed the 200plus -strong audience on key issues like Cloud, Online Services delivery and Industry Solution Experiences which was a key focus area.
Commenting on the win, Mr. Sharath Chandra, Co-Founding Director – Altem Technologies said“4 years ago Altem had started without any significant financial back up. Being a start-up in a significantly newer industry then, it was very difficult to acquire credits, attract talented manpower etc. for software distribution businesses. Despite these barriers, there has been no looking back for Altem till date. Being rewarded with such prestigious awards is proof that we are on the right track and also an inspiration to up the game to exceed the expectations set for us by these awards.”
Starting from scratch in the year 2011, Altem technologies, today has marched a long way to success. Altem had previously been awarded the “INDIA SME 100” award for 2014, and had been nominated for the “Leaders of Tomorrow” by Economic Times (ET Now) / IndiaMart and coincidently had won Marketing Excellence for Stratasys for year 2014 for their 3D Printing Business as well.
