Viewpoint Construction Software® has acquired Sydney-based Jobpac, provider of construction software solutions to the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) construction industry for more than 25 years. Combining Jobpac’s strong team of construction software professionals with Viewpoint’s organisation and advanced product portfolio creates a significant market leader with unsurpassed resources for customer service, support and new product development.
Viewpoint will maintain its Melbourne facility but relocate its ANZ Headquarters to the Jobpac offices in Sydney. The combined organisation will be led by former Jobpac CEO, Ian Desbrow, who will now become Viewpoint’s Managing Director in ANZ. Jobpac and Viewpoint customers will be supported by a larger and more extensive local staff of application and technical support resources. Viewpoint intends to combine the expertise of the Viewpoint and Jobpac organisations to broaden and improve its entire product portfolio for the Australia/New Zealand market. The combination of Viewpoint and Jobpac provides unparalleled resources for ANZ contractors and capital projects stakeholders including superior technical and application support, professional services and consulting. The acquisition also offers current Jobpac customers expanded product options including best in class applications, Viewpoint For Project Collaboration and Viewpoint’s mobile defect management solution, Field View.
