Dimension Data and EMC have together formed the Catalyst Alliance, a strategic market development initiative aimed at speeding the adoption by mid-sized companies of hybrid cloud as a platform for transformation. Through the Catalyst Alliance, both companies will make investments to develop and jointly market and sell systems that enable clients to generate value from business strategies based on hybrid cloud and to adopt new technology while managing risk.
With the initiative, the companies plan to deliver comprehensive systems that span private cloud on or off premises, as well as public and hybrid cloud, including advanced managed services for storage. Catalyst Alliance systems will feature flexible consumption based pricing models on storage, cloud and managed services. To ensure client success, the two companies will deploy a dedicated team of sales, technical and marketing specialists.
