This one-day event will be held on 24 November at the Sofitel Bayerpost, Munich, Germany. Additional keynotes will be made by Anders Romare, Vice President and Head of Engineering Applications at Airbus, and Peter Bilello, President, CIMdata.
The presentation, PLM – Who needs it? will provide attendees with an engineering-based, IT-outsider’s perspective on the value of PLM for automotive development. This discussion will examine how PLM capability relates to Tesla’s portfolio of automotive and non-automotive products throughout its history. Special emphasis will be given to the relationship between PLM and Tesla’s culture of innovation.
Paul Thomas has a long experience in the automotive industry. He is currently Senior Manager for Vehicle Engineering at Tesla Motors, a position he has been in for 18 months. He joined Tesla Motors after spending over 16 years with the luxury car maker, Aston Martin Lagonda.
