Aras, a leader in enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, and Aras partner Elysium, a global provider of data translation software, today announced the Elysium xPDM for Aras connector solution, an integration for data exchange between Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the Aras Innovator PLM platform.
Businesses are increasingly choosing to combine new platforms with existing systems to manage product information across the lifecycle and the extended enterprise. Design data from CAD must be connected with engineering business processes across product development, manufacturing, quality, suppliers and field service. Many manufacturers companies are selecting the best suited CAD, PDM and PLM platforms for each purpose and connecting them.

The xPDM connector enables data to flow securely using the open standards-based web services APIs in Aras and the XPDM infrastructure in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
