Visual 2000 International Announces Direct Shipping Carrier Integrations

Visual 2000 International announced the availability of a host of new shipping carrier integrations to their suite of omni-channel software. The new carrier integrations are aimed at providing seamless user experiences for their apparel, footwear and accessory customers in Europe, North America and Australia. The direct carrier integrations include advanced features such as automated label printing and import-export document generation from warehouse packing stations.

Charles Benoualid, VP of Research and Development, says "creating omni-channel success depends on a solid and efficient fulfillment system. Without automated shipping processes, businesses struggle to scale their operations and end up needing to cut corners, especially when it comes to the channel-agnostic consumer."

Wrought with many manual steps, fulfillment processes can be both complicated, delicate and time consuming to perform. Using the Visual 2000 End2End Suite, including advanced PLM and ERP systems, businesses can directly connect and easily automate shipping processes via a wide range of carriers and services such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, Endicia, Canada Post, Royal Mail and Australia Post.

"Customers appreciate that they can now print labels, get rate estimates, generate end-of-day manifests and communicate with carrier headquarters, directly from their ScanPack station," remarks Benoualid. "They used to have to manually connect to the carrier machine to do something as simple as print a label, but it is now all accessible through Visual ERP.net using direct APIs."

Visual 2000 states that the new integrations will eliminate the need for manual label printing and manifesting by connecting to the order information directly from the Visual 2000 End2End suite. This is expected to decrease fulfillment costs while also reducing sources of error. The new shipping integrations will also see the introduction of a completely automated import and export documentation system. This powerful new feature generates the appropriate legal documents required for orders destined for delivery in different countries. Visual 2000 expects that this will help break down borders and give businesses the freedom to easily offer their products in new countries.
