progeCAD 2014 Professional is a general-purpose DWG/DXF-native CAD based on the latest IntelliCAD technology. The present progeCAD edition includes a series of new features and tools, offers improved performance and stability, as well as a better usability thanks to an even more intuitive interface. The new software version ensures full integration with the latest Windows 8.1 operating system, being also compatible with earlier Windows 7, XP, 8; and supports all AutoCAD®DWG files from version 2.5 up to v.2014 sparing the necessity of time-consuming file conversion and incompatibility issues. The graphical interface look-and-feel as well as the way you use commands, menus, scripts, fonts, hatches and linetypes immediately recall the AutoCAD®environment, which is no doubt a benefit for a user accustomed to the industry standard software allowing him to get started with no training whatsoever.

progeCAD has implemented the long-awaited Hatch trim through the “Cut” command, which will allow you to create complex fill areas in a few quick steps.
progeCAD is a versatile CAD program, the development team have been seeking to make it even more user friendly and productive by implementing ever new tools and utilities that would optimize the design process and facilitate the drafter’s working routine. The 2014 version has been enriched with the following features:
- Tables viewing and editing, even those of AutoCAD®. The table is the best and most widely used way of reporting data in a drawing, in the production of parts lists, bills of materials and so on. Not only can you open DWG files containing tables, but also create new tables directly in the drawing sheet or import (otherwise copy and paste) tables from Excel, Open Office or Libre Office. The table can also be generated automatically from the attributes of the blocks inserted in the drawing.
- Dynamic Blocks Editing. progeCAD 2014 allows to edit the geometry of dynamic blocks through the Grips.
- Batch Plot. Layouts taken from one or more drawings can be printed or exported to PDF or DWF using the print settings of individual layouts.
- 3D Printing. STL files management for output on 3D printers
- .NET Support. Programs created with the .NET technology can be linked to progeCAD drawings
progeCAD 2014 Professional proposes a number of advanced features: images management, 3D modelling and rendering. Furthermore, the software package offers the PDF to DWG Converterwhich allows to import an existing PDF file, convert it to DWG, and then be able to open and edit it as if it were any other CAD drawing.
The program comprises the iCADLib module with over 22.000 ready-to-use blocks and provides exclusive free access to the TraceParts and Cadenas portals.
