ASICS, headquartered in Kobe, Japan, has selected Centric Software to provide its PLM solution. Centric is the leading PLM solution for fashion, retail, outdoor, footwear, luxury and consumer goods companies.
Founded in 1949, ASICS is at the forefront of the worldwide performance sports market and is the undisputed leading athletic shoe brand for both enthusiasts and professional athletes. ASICS is known for its quality lifestyle footwear, apparel and equipment products. Today, ASICS enjoys a presence around the world.
In its strategic business plan, ASICS identified the need to strengthen product development capabilities. They began the search for a PLM solution to help them standardize processes, reduce time to market, cut costs, increase productivity and improve product quality.
