Aras® today announced that Fujifilm’s Medical Systems Business Division, a global provider of diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare facilities, has selected Aras Innovator® as the Quality Management system platform for product realization of the company’s medical products and equipment across global design, production and service.
Working with Hitachi Systems, an Aras Certified Partner for implementation, Fujifilm has planned a phased deployment of Aras with the Minerva Medical Device PLM solution to support the Quality Management System, assure regulatory compliance and improve operational efficiency. The solution is planned to roll out at multiple locations.
After an extensive PLM evaluation process, Fujifilm selected Aras Innovator with the Minerva Medical Device PLM solution due to:
- Comprehensive functionality for engineering, manufacturing, quality and compliance for medical devices
- Platform flexibility to comply with global regulations
- Ease of integration and federation with existing information systems
- Subscription that includes upgrade services for predictable ownership cost
