Morpheus Makes Its Technology Available to Channel Companies

Morpheus, an infrastructure-agnostic cloud application management and orchestration platform, today announced that its world-class technology is now available to channel companies that want to drive more business and increase sales. Through the Morpheus Partner Program, channel partners can deliver Morpheus’ simple, yet extremely powerful, user interface directly to innovative enterprises and service providers. Morpheus’ vendor-agnostic approach eliminates cloud lock-in and allows organizations to easily manage distributed systems and applications across hybrid cloud environments.

BigTec UK, a Morpheus partner and a value-added distributor for datacenter information, is part of the new program. BigTec’s focus is to help partners harness opportunities from new cloud architectures and virtualized datacenter functions.

“Morpheus empowers IT directors to take control over their entire hybrid, multi-cloud environments, delivering complete visibility, management and analytics so that – for the first time – the circumstances of location, infrastructure and choice of hypervisor are irrelevant to driving value, business agility and good governance,” said Jason Dance, managing director at BigTec UK. “It’s a keystone at the top of our solution stack, because without it, capitalizing on the software-defined, virtual IT cloud revolution risks being an expensive and time-consuming management headache.”

“Channel partners want more options to sell to their customers, and this is a great opportunity for them to expand their portfolio of solutions,” said Pete Beecher, President of Morpheus. “We’ve created an extensive partner program to ensure profitability and success for our partners, with dedicated resources for business planning, sales strategy, post-sales support and competitive intelligence. The program is a strategic imperative for Morpheus—our goal is to drive 100% of our sales through the channel.”

O’Callaghan Capital (O’CC), a consulting firm with deep channel expertise, understands what it takes to run a successful partner program. “Morpheus has constructed a highly profitable program for channel partners, founded on best practices,” said David O’Callaghan, Founder of O’CC. “Morpheus can onboard and educate channel partners quickly and support them as they grow their capabilities—the programs will enable channel companies of all types to share in Morpheus’ success.”

The Morpheus Partner Program focuses on three types of partnerships:

  • MRP – Morpheus Reseller Partner: MRP focuses on companies who resell technology products into their target markets. They can sell Morpheus as a standalone solution or bundled with a variety of products and services to create solutions for clients.
  • MTP – Morpheus Technology Partner: MTP is for larger organizations who will certify, co-sell, sell through, or embed/integrate the Morpheus solution into a larger combined solution.
  • MSP – Morpheus Service Partner: MSP is for companies who are primarily service providers and will bundle Morpheus into a larger services offering that is sold as a service.

In addition, Morpheus has incentive programs in place to support partners. They include: Market Development Funds, the Morpheus Incentive Program, sales and technical training and certification, and the software they need to demo and support the Morpheus product.
