Alphacam has appointed a new reseller covering Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Totus believes in offering its customers a full one-stop solution for both hardware and software – and will now supply Alphacam software to complement their CNC router offerings.
The company has already provided Alphacam with a Felder Profit H500 5-axis router to Slovenia’s main woodworking school, Šolski Center Škofja Loka. Alphacam International Account Manager, Jason Walker, says: “We are proud to be involved with this project and to expose the next generation of woodworkers in Slovenia to the power of Alphacam.”
Totus has specialised in woodworking machines and accessories in Slovenia and Croatia since 1993, and expanded into the other former Yugoslav republics of Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro.
Managing Director, Elvis Bassanese, says they have always had a keen interest in software solutions that make woodworking machines easier to use. “We find customers’ manufacturing processes are more efficient if they use the best software to fully maximise their machine tool investment.
“Our customers are now asking us for a complete solution. They need a CNC machine together with the specific software, along with training and technical support.”
Totus works closely with CMS/Balestrini and Felder, providing their 5-axis CNC centres to woodworking companies throughout the area. “Our new partnership with Alphacam gives us the opportunity to supply the complete hardware and software packages to customers, which is a guarantee of meeting their full manufacturing needs.”
