The means of production are changing, competition is increasing, and manufacturers are facing new consumer demands. To address these challenges, Autodesk has built a robust portfolio of software solutions to help customers realize competitive separation through additive and advanced manufacturing.
At RAPID + TCT, Autodesk will showcase Netfabb, additive manufacturing and design software that streamlines workflows to help you quickly get from a 3D model to successfully printed parts. Visitors to Autodesk booth #1727 will see demonstrations of Netfabb’s efficient build preparation tools, lattice and surface optimization capabilities (previously Autodesk Within®), metal process simulation (formerly Pan Computing), and hybrid manufacturing tools for planning and modelling near net shapes for additive processes.
Alongside Netfabb, Autodesk will exhibit PowerShape®, an extensive toolkit designed to prepare complex parts for manufacturing. PowerShape also integrates with scanning devices to capture 3D shapes and enables meshes to be converted into 3D models. PowerMill®, expert software for machining components with maximum efficiency, and PowerInspect®, 3D measurement and metrology software for inspection of complex free-form shapes, will also be exhibited at the show.
Bringing these tools into a single integrated portfolio, Autodesk has created a robust advanced manufacturing ecosystem designed to make additive and hybrid manufacturing as repeatable and reliable as traditional methods. Combining additive solutions with modelling, machining, and inspection software, provides the most comprehensive range of design and manufacturing tools available in a single integrated ecosystem.
