Fifth Module of the 2016 PLM MAR Report Series
ANN ARBOR, Michigan, 18 August 2016—CIMdata, Inc., the leading global PLM strategic management consulting and research firm, announces the release of the CIMdata PLM Geography Analysis Report, the fifth of five modules of the CIMdata 2016 PLM Market Analysis Report Series. The MAR Series provides detailed information and in-depth analysis on the worldwide PLM market during 2015. The PLM market grew to $38.7 billion overall in 2015 (2.8% growth over 2014). When looked at in constant currencies, that growth rate would be 8.2% over 2014. During 2015, only EMEA failed to grow.
For 2015, the Americas had 38.1% of the PLM market. EMEA followed with 34.5%, with Asia-Pacific having 27.4%. The Americas region is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% to reach $19.5 billion in 2020. EMEA and AP will have CAGRs of 6.1% and 7.4% respectively. EMEA will grow to $17.9 billion and AP will reach nearly $15.2 billion in 2020.
