Netherlands Telecommunications Law Impacts Dutch Readers of CIMdata PLM Late-Breaking News and CIMdata PLM Industry Summary

CIMdata, Inc., the Leading Global PLM Consulting and Research firm announced that its daily CIMdata PLM Late-Breaking News and weekly CIMdata PLM Industry Summary newsletters fall within the purview of the Dutch Telecommunications Act.

Effective October 1, 2009 an amendment to the Dutch Telecommunications act establishes new rules for business to business e mail. Primarily, prior consent must be obtained from the receiver if their e mail address is used for commercial purposes.

Each Dutch Late-Breaking News reader has received or will receive an e mail under separate cover instructing them to “opt in” to continuing this newsletter by replying to that email. Without a confirmation to that e mail, the subscription will be suspended until such time as the subscriber elects to notify us that they would like the subscription reinstated.

Subscribers have the ability to unsubscribe to the newsletter at any time by marking the “unsubscribe” box in the body of our newsletter.
