2010 Call for Papers for SIMULIA Customer Conference

Abstracts due Monday, November 9, 2009

Abstracts for contributed papers are now being accepted for possible inclusion in the 2010 SIMULIA Customer Conference., May 25-27, Providence Road Island. The SCC is open to users of all SIMULIA products including Abaqus FEA, Isight, Fiper, and SIMULIA SLM. Industry-focused topics are encouraged including applications in Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Medical Devices, Consumer Goods, Energy, among others.

Suggested technical topics include:

Simulation Automation	Composites
Distributed and High Performance Computing	Impact, Durability and Fatigue
Design Optimization	Noise and Vibration, Acoustics
Linear and Nonlinear Dynamics	Fluid-Structure Interaction
Thermal	Simulation Data and Process Management

We are particularly interested in papers that highlight the technical, business, organizational, economic, and/or social value of simulation to your company, field, or institution.

Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of 250 words or less. Paper acceptance will be based on the technical merit and overall quality of the abstract and draft manuscript. Once accepted, authors must meet all conference deadlines to be included in the conference agenda and proceedings. All authors and co-authors presenting or attending the SCC are required to pay the discounted author registration fee of $895 (if you register before February 26, 2010 you will receive an additional discount of $100, making the total registration fee $795).
