Dimensional Control Systems Inc. (DCS) Announces the Release of 3DCS Analyst SA (Stand Alone) Version 7.0.0.0 for Multi CAD

Dimensional Control Systems Incorporated (DCS) announced the availability of 3DCS Analyst Stand Alone version 7.0.0.0 for Multi CAD on both Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. Version 7.0.0.0 includes many new enhancements to increase modeling performance and accuracy while maintaining the quality our users have come to know and expect. Because many of these enhancements are customer driven, we feel that we have hit the mark yet again delivering best-in-class tolerance analysis software, which help our customers develop higher-quality products at a lower cost.

Tolerance Analysis is used to ‘drive’ the design (both geometry and tolerances) to meet defined quality and cost requirements while meeting component manufacturers’ capabilities. 3DCS Analyst SA software offers engineers the opportunity to optimize component tolerances and maximize quality while minimizing costs. The optimal time to complete the variation analysis is as early in the product's lifecycle as possible to make the most impact to the overall design quality. Whether the quality characteristics are for fit, finish / aesthetic properties, or functional requirements, 3DCS can definitely be used to improve the assembly quality.

3DCS gives users the ability to evaluate design and assembly concepts up front, where problems can be identified early in the product development lifecycle. Optimizing for dimensional integrity improves the robustness of the design and process by maximizing part tolerances while maintaining the dimensional requirements of final assemblies.
