ASCENT Releases New AutoCAD® CIVIL 3D® 2010 Update for 2009 Users Training Guide

RAND Worldwide® announced that its courseware division, ASCENT– Center for Technical Knowledge®, released AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2010 Update for 2009 Users training guide.

The AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 training guide is a new offering for ASCENT for 2010. It is designed for those civil engineers and surveyors who have previous experience using Autodesk Civil 3D software. The focus of the training guide is to teach students the new functionality that has been incorporated into the Civil 3D 2010 software. Among the many changes in the 2010 release is the revised interface that incorporates the new Ribbon toolbars. Other new features that are discussed include the intersection wizard, alignment types, improved corridors and parcels, expanded pipe catalog, additional labels, surface improvements, and a whole new pay item area for improved quantity takeoffs.

“With the release of the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 Update for 2009 Users training guide, Civil 3D 2009 users can now rely on ASCENT to support their training needs when upgrading to Civil 3D 2010,” said Joe Oswald, executive vice-president, PLM Operations, North America and Europe, RAND Worldwide. “Our hands-on, practice-intensive approach to curriculum ensures our clients quickly benefit by learning and practicing the new features and functionality as they learn the new tools being introduced in the software.”
