MESA International 2009 Plant –to-Enterprise Conference Utrecht Netherlands Oct 27-28

The impact of MES and how companies can benefit from it can be experienced at the 2009 MESA European Conference and is documented in the MESA International Strategic Initiatives Guidebooks.

The 2009 MESA European Conference, held at the Jaarbeurs Centre in Utrecht, The Netherlands on October 27 and 28 will consist of many end user presentations which will explain how MES worked to help them achieve company goals.

The MESA study “Metrics that Matter,” originally published in 2006, showed that strategic initiatives, including Lean or Six Sigma achieve higher results, even doubling, when MES was in place. To assist manufacturers in addressing company initiatives MESA developed five Strategic Initiatives Guidebooks on:

The MESA Strategic Initiatives Guidebooks are available to MESA Premium Members and updated versions are planned to be released shortly after the European Conference.

"MESA has been working aggressively to develop and refine an exciting series of 'Guidebooks' that are designed to greatly improve the way manufacturers apply information technologies in their operations in support of corporate strategic initiatives. These 'Guidebooks' are based on input from well-known domain experts, practitioners and thought leaders in each field, and will be standard reading material within our industry. Whether you're simply investigating or considering investing in one of these initiatives, we're confident that you'll find this collection of best practices to be extremely valuable," says MESA Chairman and Strategic Initiatives Working Group Leader, John Dyck.

The 2009 MESA European Conference Educational Track includes a session on “Metrics that Matter” for those wishing to learn more about the survey results. However, both MESA Educational Sessions are filling up fast, so register for the conference and reserve your spot today Many registrants have chosen to combine the opportunity to learn from these experts with education on how to approach implementation, as well as the end user MES cases available in the general conference program.
