Autodesk Licenses ISOGEN® Technology from Intergraph

Autodesk, Inc. announced it has entered into a long-term OEM licensing agreement with Intergraph® to embed Intergraph ISOGEN® technology in Autodesk’s AutoCAD® Plant 3D 2010 product.

Intergraph ISOGEN technology will enable our AutoCAD Plant 3D customers to more easily and efficiently generate isometrics and fabrication drawings from their 3D models. We are pleased to work with Intergraph to make this proven technology available to Autodesk customers,” said Mark Strassman, vice president, Plant Solutions, AEC, Autodesk.

“We are pleased to work with Autodesk to provide the leading isometrics software application to its customers,” said Patrick Holcomb, executive vice president of Intergraph’s Process, Power and Marine division. “As Intergraph ISOGEN technology is open and interoperable, Autodesk and other Intergraph ISOGEN customers and partners will be able to more easily share information – a win-win for the industry.”

Under the agreement, Autodesk will provide front-line customer support for Intergraph ISOGEN as is needed by end-users of AutoCAD Plant 3D 2010.
