Aras held the ACE 2024 conference March 4-7, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. CIMdata attended the conference and as usual, it provided a plethora of information for attendees. Monday was their partner and training day, during which Aras held private meetings with partners and provided users and partners with training on new capabilities and XPLM connectivity. Additionally, a few other independent organizations, including CIMdata, provided focused education and training for conference attendees.

CIMdata had the pleasure of attending the launch event for Autodesk’s latest global Design & Make research in New York City on 10 April 2024. The one-day event had two sessions. The main event was a formal launch on the Observation Deck of the Freedom Tower.

CIMdata had the pleasure of attending 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024 held in Dallas, TX on February 11-14, 2024. While 3DEXPERIENCE World 2023 was a live, in-person event in Nashville, TN. The 2024 session brought more of the energy one expects from a larger crowd dominated by SOLIDWORKS enthusiasts. According to Dassault Systèmes, the event included over 4,700 live participants from over 30 countries, with another 10K+ consuming the live stream. “Imagine” was the overall theme again this year.

On February 15, 2024, Renesas, a leading global provider of microcontrollers, announced that they have entered into an agreement to acquire Altium Limited, a global leader in printed circuit board (PCB) design tools.
