Honeywell announced that it has agreed to sell its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business to Protective Industrial Products, Inc. ("PIP"), a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners, for $1.325 billion in an all-cash transaction. The order-producing company Alfa Laval is establishing a new logistics center in Qingdao, China, from where the company will supply components and spare parts for complex heating and fluid systems for ships and various industries worldwide. The decision was made to implement LOGIA WMS to manage and support the warehouse processes using the same setup implemented at the warehouse in Aalborg. Since 2018, Alfa Laval has been utilizing the LOGIA warehouse management system at their Aalborg logistics center, serving two business units dedicated to new sales and spare parts sales.
