Synopsys, Inc. announced that it has received approval from all necessary authorities to proceed with the planned, previously-announced divestitures of the Optical Solutions Group and PowerArtist businesses to Keysight Technologies, Inc. These divestitures were determined by regulatory authorities to be a necessary step related to Synopsys' acquisition of Ansys, which successfully closed on July 17, 2025. Synopsys expects to complete these divestitures on or about October 17, 2025. Bechtle AG has received official confirmation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) that its net-zero targets meet the organisation’s criteria. Following the validation of its near and mid-term climate goals earlier this year, Bechtle’s long-term net-zero targets for 2050 have now also been assessed and approved in line with scientifically recognised standards. With its net-zero targets, Bechtle commits to reducing absolute greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1 and 2 by 90% by 2050. For Scope 3.1 and 3.11, the company aims to cut emissions by 97% per €1,000 of value creation. Bechtle will neutralise any remaining emissions through credible carbon removal measures. Key levers for decarbonisation include energy, mobility and procurement.
