Presentation will take a look at the automated CAE tools for design engineers and simulation experts that Honda R&D Americas has developed and implemented. Nuance Communications, Inc. announced that Oracle® has selected Nuance voice and language offerings for a broad set of Oracle mobile apps. Under the worldwide and multi-year agreement, Oracle will use Nuance Cloud Services to add speech recognition and synthesis to certain mobile apps that support Oracle Applications for ERP, SCM, CRM, and HCM, Oracle Eloqua Marketing Cloud Service, Oracle RightNow Cloud Service and Oracle Taleo Cloud Service, among others. Dassault Systèmes today announced the introduction of its newest brand, BIOVIA.  The new brand is a combination of Dassault Systèmes’ own activities in BioIntelligence, its collaborative 3DEXPERIENCE technologies, and the leading life sciences and material sciences applications from the recent acquisition of Accelrys.  The newly acquired company’s solutions focus on biological, chemical and materials modeling and simulation, research and open collaborative discovery, enterprise laboratory and quality management, and process manufacturing intelligence. Dassault Systèmes unveiled the world’s first 3D realistic simulation model of a whole human heart. Developed with a multidisciplinary team of heart experts to help combat cardiovascular disease, the “Living Heart Project” will launch the next frontier in diagnosing, treating and preventing heart conditions through personalized, 3D virtual models. According to recent research from the World Health Organization, 17.3 million people died from cardiovascular diseases globally in 2008, representing 30 percent of all global deaths.
